Eleanor is a writer, singer and actor based between Glasgow and Manchester. She has acted in projects with Oxygen Films, The New Works Playhouse, Slackline Productions, and Kakapo Arts. Writing credits include ‘Ghost’ and ‘Neurons’ with WriteNowBerlin, ‘Dr Barry’ with Thalia Arts Company, and ‘Those Who Remain’ with both Scylla’s Bite and Play Full Theatre. Her play ‘Pendle’ was shortlisted for the 2024 Cheshire Prize, and was subsequently published in the Kaleidoscope anthology by Chester University Press.

Eleanor’s day job is working as a proofreader and editor. For the past five years she has been working in educational publishing, and as a result could tell you some fun facts about woolly mammoths (amongst other animals).
